I am a board certified psychiatrist and psychopharmacologist with certification in general adult (ages 14 and up) and forensic psychiatry.  I attended the University of Virginia for my undergraduate education and then obtained my law degree from The Yale Law School.  After practicing law for several years, I returned to school and eventually earned my M.D. from the University of California at San Francisco.  I completed post-graduate training in general psychiatry at UCSF and UVA and then forensic fellowship at Case Western Reserve University.  Although I have practiced in a variety of settings, I have consistently maintained a private practice.
